We have a 13.3 Cu. Ft. Montgomery Wards Freezer Model 43018 that runs continuously except when we turn it off. The control is set on 4. The door is not warped, and the seal is in good shape. We don't leave the door open, and we don't put hot or warm items in the Freezer. Is there a fix for this or do we need to buy a new freezer?If a freezer gets a lot of use you may want to set the temperature cold to a 2, as it will keep the frozen items frozen even if the door is opened often. Keep in mind that a freezer that is stuffed with items won’t need to be set as high, as each item will act like an icepack to keep the others items cooler.
